Sat: Killarney to Boonah 69/74km
We take a little known route over the Great Dividing Range. We put on lunch today.
Choice of dirt or sealed for the first leg:
(a) DIRT - MTB riders can ride along the unsealed Condamine River Road with numerous creek crossings, a favourite 4x4 adventure. It climbs 200m steadily over 21km to The Head (locality only).
(b) SEALED - Ride the Waterfalls Way 15km to Queen Mary Falls (café), then 11km more along and over the Scenic Rim to The Head where we all join up again. The sealed road involves a hefty 550m of climbing and descending 350m!
It is 48km following Head Road, Teviot Creek to Croftby and into Boonah.
Brakes need to be good as there is a 5km stretch with a 500m descent!

Some of it is 15% and steeper.

Camp at Boonah Showgrounds.
Sun: Boonah to Ipswich 55km
We can ride a quieter set of roads just 3-5km to the west of the main road, rejoining at Peak Crossing village at 30km. Again we  can stay west using Middle Rd for 19km up to the Cunningham Hwy, then 7km into Ipswich to our finish point near the station.

We provide maps (paper or digital) and set refreshment/rendezvous/support/lunch stops.

On these events, we will support up to 20 riders with 1 or 2 crew, a vehicle (usually our 21 passenger mini-coach), large enclosed trailer to carry your gear, camping equipment and our catering.

Note, there is NO sag-wagon driving directly behind riders, NO route marshalls and NO route signage.

Riders should be able to follow maps and have experience riding up to 100km.

In trouble en-route? Give us a call or text (or wait) and we'll assist.

* There is a very steep climb near the end of the longest day, Day 4, the 110km to Bunya Mountains and some riders may need to walk this or wait for our bus. Don't bust your guts if you have any doubts of your ability or if you run out of puff.

* It is WINTER and we can expect some cold nights and mornings so bring your warm gear.

This circuit is awesomely scenic and runs Ipswich - Brisbane Valley Rail Trail - Blackbutt - Nanango - Bunya Mountains - Jondaryan Woolshed - Darling Downs - Clifton - Warwick - Killarney - Waterfalls Way - Boonah - Ipswich.

We ran this once before with 10 riders, in Aug 2015.

Several non-riding companions can join at 50% of the participation rate.

Priced affordably under $100 per day for rider's bag transfers, comfortable camping, healthy breakfasts and u-pack lunches. Dinners at local pubs and restaurants extra.
