WAYWARD BUS 2020

LET THE OTHERS RUSH!

In 2020, post-pandemic and back in the hands of the founder Ralph Jackson, Wayward Bus is rebooting with a series of fun, relaxed, affordable, interesting and quirky road holidays - tuned for Aussies and Kiwis. The trips will run in our own fleet of high-spec Bandicoot mini-coaches with extra seat space, recliners and wide-opening windows.

From 1990 Wayward Bus Touring Company was the first to link Melbourne and Adelaide via the Great Ocean road and became an icon for travelers of all ages. Over the 1990s and 2000s Wayward grew to offer a network of road trips spanning Sydney to Darwin. Wayward was always a Lonely Planet favourite and picked up the Australian Tourism Award for Tour & Transport in ‘97. But mergers, travel agent failures and cutbacks saw the Wayward brand withdrawn by 2008 to try and keep less-popular stablemates on the road.
